"The New Healthcare Legislation"

Speaker(s): Adam Hauser & David Hilgers of Brown McCarroll LLP

Whether you like it or not, Healthcare Reform is the new law…lawsuits notwithstanding. This has the potential to mean more business for all of us. With the new law, 32 million Americans who are currently uninsured will be added into the system. Taking a rough figure of 1.9 square feet required per patient, there is the potential need for 64 million square feet of space necessary to accommodate the expanded patient base. And Texas has the highest number of uninsured in the country. This growth should affect not only hospitals and medical office product, but also traditional office, retail space, land and residential.

Come learn from David Hilgers & Adam Hauser of Brown McCarroll what the law does and does not do. The major focus of this discussion will be on how the new Healthcare legislation will affect commercial real estate

The event will be located at:
University of Texas Club
